A little bit about us.

The 5K35 campaign was created by John Simpson and his family in honor of Dottie Simpson - an extraordinary mom, wife, grandmother, friend, and volunteer - who died of breast cancer on Dec. 17, 2006.  She taught us many things
in life and none more powerful than to have the audacity to believe that we can achieve things that might otherwise seem impossible - like finding a cure for cancer.

"One part creativity, two parts stubborn, and just a pinch of crazy...I'll do whatever it takes." - John

In loving memory.

5K35 is our personal experience, but there's power in sharing it and hopefully it serves as an inspiration to others to get involved and as an example of how the Web offers us all the ability to easily tell our own story, customize products and share it all with others.
